31 March 2015 – iATS receives authorisation from DCLG

The Independent Airtightness Testing Scheme (“iATS”) has now received official notification from DCLG that iATS is to be authorised to operate a Competent Persons Scheme (CPS) for air tightness testing, effective from 18 April 2015. On 30 January 2015, the iATS Steering Group held its final meeting with representatives from DCLG and BRAC. The meeting was positive, and iATS hopes to be informed of whether it is to be authorised by the end of March 2015.
